Web Site Hits

The site has now been running a little over a month, and based on the statistics I’m seeing for the site, I see lots of folks visiting the home page, which is pretty awesome! We had 34 hits on it yesterday, 26 the day before and 12 before that, the highest was an amazing 56 on 2/25. However, I don’t see many new members either subscribing to the blog or registering on the forums. I don’t yet know why that is, so I am inviting folks to e-mail the webmaster on why they might be visiting and not registering. Perhaps it’s that the site doesn’t present its goal very well or perhaps someone’s favorite game isn’t represented. Whatever the reason, we’d love to hear it since the site was made for you guys, the Central Indiana gamers!

I’d guess this is because there isn’t a clear way to register for the site. Also, some of the links are too dark in color and blend into the background unless I accidentally mouse over them (like the RSS feed link under the box I typed this comment into.

I found a login page when I clicked to make a comment and a register link on that page.

Some may also not be registering because the registration is through WordPress and doesn’t look like it’s part of your website…

  Good call out, CaptMorgan! I have added the register link in the welcome message. I’ll also look at fixing the link colors.
