Sryth ran Eric and I through a quick one-shot of the Dragon Age pen and paper roleplaying game last Tuesday (man, I’m falling behind!). I had already gone through the character creation process some time ago, yet didn’t have the stats with me. Eric had made a bunch of characters for us to use, so I used one of his that closely resembled the character I’d already made, a elf Apostate Mage.

I admit to not really being fluent in the “fluff” for DragonAge, but I do know the Apostate is a mage operating outside the confines of the normal Mage rules and laws, and it seems that elves are not all that favored in this setting. So I had a character in double-trouble, so to speak.

This is the first of what will be come a weekly post about the goings on the the Southside of Indy including the Greenwood area. I will strive to scour the web and the stores themselves to bring the most current and useful informatin about upcoming events and whatever else I feel needs to be told. Malifaux taking off on Thursdays at the South Side GP

Straight from the Greenwood Game Preserve’s Facebook group it’s official Malifaux is growing in popularity enough so that Thursdays have become the dedicated night for Malifaux players to throw down in the creepy world of Malifaux. I personally haven’t had a chance to check out the Malifaux crew at the store but I know a lot of the players from the Warmachine\Hordes group are getting into Malifaux and I have nothing but positive words to say abut those guys.
