The Circle City Circuit is a 4 store rotation of Warhammer Fantasy events. The stores currently involved are  Saltire Games, The Game Preserve, Games 2 Die 4 and Hometown Comics.

Here are the tentative dates.

• January 15th - The Game Preserve, Greenwood

• March 13th -  Games 2 Die 4

Senario, LLC has sent us a message asking for volunteers to judge a Battle Bands tournament on October 9th. Check out the forum post here. Looks like there’s a free meal and product involved for those interested.

It’s our first request from a corporation outside the state, so I figured it was worthy of posting.

There is a Warhammer 40,000 doubles tournament being held at Games To Die For on September 26th. Check out all the details on the Hive Fleet Indy Blog.

September 18th Warhammer Fantasy 2500 pt Event
Game Preserve : Keytone at the Crossing
Indianapolis, Indiana

This will be a standard 3 game tournament. No special characters Scoring categories include
Battle/ Paint / sportsmanship

It will be scored and drawn by Tournament Overlord.

10:00 AM start time.
$5 entry fee
All entries will be turned into gift cards and put into the prizepool.

Ace King from the forums is going to be running an ‘Ard Boyz Primer Warhammer Fantasy 8th edition tournament on August 21st at the Keystone Game Preserve. More details in the forums here.

This past Saturday I participated in a Warhammer Fantasy Battles tournament at Games To Die For in Avon, Indiana. The tournament was being run by the same guy who is running the Warhammer Fantasy League, which has been running for a few months now. Most of the people who had signed up for the tournament were members of the league.

Two days prior to the tournament, I kinda had a thought that my only real option for coming out of the tournament with any real kind of recognition was to have a fully-painted army (since I play Ogres and would be playing against some tournament-level players), so I began painting my Butcher. I finished painting him the morning of the tournament. I think he came out pretty well.
